The daughter of a farmer and rancher, Cari grew up with hard work and community service as core values. She took that into adulthood serving two years as an AmeriCorps VISTA, and now for over 18 years, she has dedicated her career to service-working with nonprofits, community organizations, and local governments. She served on the SCOPE Health Council board for 5 years.<\/p>\n

She currently works for Friends of Bosque del Apache, leading the Pollinator Habitat Enhancement Project at the refuge and attracting visitors from around the world to learn about our history, culture and the animals who call this area home at the Festival of the Cranes.<\/p>\n

Cari understands our challenges-and she’s committed to building a stronger, healthier, and more vibrant Socorro County for all.<\/p>\n
